What is SpinDoctor?

SpinDoctor was a podcast created and hosted by Sasha Torres, who was often joined by Jillian Moreno. For forty episodes between 2010 and 2013, SpinDoctor reviewed products, services, events and information for the passionate handspinner.  It focused primarily on spinning equipment, fiber and books, but it also covered fiber festivals, fiber processing companies, and information sources for spinners like DVDs and blogs.

You can listen to the old episodes of the show right from this site.  Click on “Podcast” in the navigation bar above for a full list.  Each podcast post has an mp3 player embedded in it.  Just press “play” and enjoy!

Though Sasha is off on a new fibery adventure, she has created the SpinDoctor Newsletter as a way of keeping in touch with her listeners. Each monthly issue will review one product for spinners that has caught her interest of late, as well as a bit of information about her latest spinning projects. You can subscribe to the SpinDoctor Newsletter here.

Spinsibs:

This will be the last episode of SpinDoctor.  I wanted to tell you about that, and about where I’ve been and about what’s next for me.  I won’t restate here what I say in the episode, but I did want to provide a few links:
